A semi-sentient manifestation of the Uni-Power, which is in turn a part of the Enigma Force, this extradimensional energy combines with other beings to endow them with near limitless power, including a vast enhancement of any superhuman ability that they might already have. The force affects a different host each time, choosing them based on their probability to combat specific forces; once the threat is neutralized, the energy leaves them as they were before.

Among the abilities displayed by "Captain Universe" include flight, superhuman strength and senses, energy projection, telekinesis and the ability to change the molecular make-ups of inorganic matter.
